As we know Mental stigma is not well embraced in many cultures, yet patients and clinicians must face presented underlying mental cases that are perceived differently in each culture. Many factors affect full acceptance due to language barrier, cultural commitment and value in traditional medications and side effects. Patients presenting for somatic symptoms sometimes have no medical explanation and may be affected by a psychiatric condition. The sealed culturally beliefs may block the connection to mind and body existence to accept a dual diagnosis (Bhugra et al. 2011).
