• This client is a 59 year old male offender with early dementia, who became an opiate addict after using pain medication for severe back and neck pain injuries. Six months ago, he lost his wife of 32 years. Recently, he argued with several family members about where he would now stay. The argument escalated into him assaulting one of the family members.
