Synthesizing and Paraphrasing Assignment Instructions

For this assignment, you will choose 3 or more articles from the literature search completed previously in the course for the reference list and organize the articles based on common information.

Once you have your articles organized, using Word, you will write 4-5 paragraphs combining information in the articles demonstrating proper synthesizing and paraphrasing, using at least one (1) but no more than three (3) direct quotes and proper use of APA 6th edition for in-text citations.

These paragraphs should resemble the discussion or body portion of a literature review. You need to follow proper APA formatting:
Times New Roman, 12 point font

Double spaced, with 0 points before and after paragraph spacing

1” margins on all sides

Your document MUST include properly formatted APA title (using the title of YOUR topic) and reference pages. If they are not 100% correct, you will receive 0 points for that portion of your rubric. The title page portion and the reference page portion of the assignment is all or nothing since you have already received comments and corrections for these documents.

When you have completed the assignment, turn in your Word document along with all articles used for your assignment. The articles must be uploaded as documents in either Word or pdf format. If they are not included, you will receive a zero for that portion of the assignment. If you have questions, contact your instructor.
