Coastlines

Pick a coastline region somewhere around the world.

You can be specific, such as a certain coastal town, river or feature, or you can be

broader in scope, such as Pacific NW or Maine or southern Africa, etc.

Include the following topics:

Topography

Physical and chemical aspects of the ocean, e.g. water masses, currents, Temperatures

Marine and shoreline life

Human settlement, if there is any

Human use (industries that rely on, or use, the sea)

Human modification to the shoreline

Changes, good or bad, that are occurring

Make it at least four pages, excluding a bibliography.

The only required diagram is a map, but pretty pictures are always a good thing.
