A MORE DETAILED OUTLINE OF THE PAPER GUIDELINES AND FORMAT WILL FOLLOW THIS:
[Up to 50 points] (Due Tuesday 11:59pm): Support Group Reflection. Write a three-page reflection on a community support group meeting that you attended. Be sure that you get permission from the group leader to observe, unless the meeting you attend is listed as an “Open” meeting, which means that anyone interested can attend (versus a “Closed” meeting, which is for persons who identify themselves as having the particular issue or addiction which the meeting addresses). Otherwise, you may choose to attend a meeting type that is listed as “Open Discussion,” “Speaker,” “Big Book Study,” etc. Write about your experience as a participant, as well as your thoughts on what you learned and how you might run such a group as an LMHC.
