1. Ethics is concerned about the conduct of a person according to the highest principles of honor and dignity . 

 

2. Ethics are the social values which are inculcated in hum being right from the start so that society can work in harmony and nobody takes undue advantage and nobody is oppressed while keeping your own interest . 

 

3. So this is a difficult matter because sometimes even the most intelligent and civilized persons are not able to distinguish between right and wrong , this usually happens when there is conflict of interests involved among many other reasons . 

 

4. Ethical standards are what it means to be a good person, the social rules that govern our behavior. 

 

5. Ethical conduct boosts morale and promotes teamwork. When employees can trust one another and management, they can work together more harmoniously and effectively. 

 

 

 

 

6. Ethics in workplace is essentially the study of what constitutes the right and wrong or the good or bad behavior in the workplace environment. 

 

7. Sets of formal and informal standards of conduct that people use to guide their behavior at work. These standards are partly based on core values such as honesty, respect, and trust, but they also can be learned directly from the actions of others. 

 

8. For example, what people see their organizational leaders, managers, and coworkers do on the job can influence their own views of what is acceptable or unacceptable behavior. 

 

10. Ethical conduct promotes a strong public image for the organization. People respect an organization that makes ethical choices. Customers like doing business with an organization they can trust.

The first and foremost behavior that an individual must have is to be good with the peoples around him to acknowledge and promote the good qualities of other individual to make an environment which is progressive and where everybody in the organization can give his opinion while keeping the interest of the organization supreme . 

 

12. The dictatorial behavior where only orders are followed and no boday is allowed to express their opinion , people soon lose their interest and fail to take initiative . 

 

13. This is because taking initiative in that very environments tantamount to having conflict with one person’s thought ( the boss ) . 

 

 

14. Therefore it is required that a good practices at work place should be followed so that task can be accomplished in harmony . 

 

 

9. Workplace ethics provide emotional security because employees can go to work knowing other workers won’t harass them, their supervisors will respect both them and their work and their co-workers will reap disciplinary measures if they steal supplies or equipment or falsify company records, according to the Global Ethics University.
