In addition, you may need to rewrite the problem statement so it clearly states the issue being addressed. Make sure you are still working on innovative solutions to a health care challenge that is important to the larger society. Determine if you need to add to the methodology section. Continue to review appropriate literature to identify peer-reviewed articles that will support your topic or problem. In your research of existing literature, for example, you should include information such as how the problem, issue, or situation has been addressed in other communities, or offer valid data to support the significance of the problem.

At this point in your research, you need to have approximately 40–60 journal articles in your area of interest. In your literature review you need to explain why these articles are applicable to your field. Make sure you are organizing your literature searches and the articles you find. Your literature review should include the key articles on your topic of interest. Refer to the resources below for help with your literature review:
