When preparing the lab memo, I expect you will have an introductory paragraph describing what test was performed with reference to the appropriate ASTM standard. Also describe the purpose of the test. You should present your test results, such as the plot used to determine the maximum dry unit weight and optimum moisture content. I recommend that you plot the data points and either use a best fit polynomial or hand draw in a curve. Also, you should provide a description of the soil that you performed the test on, such as the expected soil classification and the soil color. For clarification, I am in Group 8, so the results should be based on that group. the results are attached below.
