Write a two part report, note page requirements for each part.

1. a) Find a zoology-related article from the Tuesday NY Times (or other news source). b) Find the original scientific article (primary source) that was used for writing an article for NY Times (or other news source), and c) Write a minimum one-full -page typewritten single spacecomparison of the NY Times article (or equivalent news source) and then how it relates/differs to the actual science paper (a real critique — not just “there are more numbers and graphs in the science paper”). Do NOT summarize. Minimum 1 page, maximum 2 pages.

2. Focusing on the animal in the paper in part 1, write out the full classification of the animal from kingdom to species. Explain why the animal was classified into each level of classification. Minimum 2 full pages, maximum 5 pages, typewritten, single-space.

3. References to both must be included on the paper in Council of Science Editors (CSE) format for both on a separate page.
