This is the third and final part of the course project. Make any corrections required for Part 2 of the course project. In the same presentation that you submitted in Unit V, create a slide titled “Part 3: Human Impact on Climate Change” to indicate where Part 3 begins. Submit Parts 1, 2, and 3 in Blackboard as a single PowerPoint presentation.

After learning about several ways in which our everyday actions impact climate change, choose one action to conduct more research on, and create slides to tell us more. Use the unit material and reliable resources online to gather more information.

Think about what you do every day and how the activity uses energy or natural resources. Alternatively, think about a product you buy (e.g., how it was made, what natural resources were used to make it). You could also perform a quick Google search of “everyday activities that affect the environment,” and start reading some articles for more ideas!

Your presentation must include:

1. What everyday activity or product have you chosen to present? Why did you choose this activity or product? (Why is it important?)
2. Connect the activity/product to its impact on the environment and climate change. (How does doing the activity or making the product use natural resources, disrupt habitat, and/or impact wildlife?)
3. Report data and statistics (with references) on how this activity/product affects the environment. (Support #2 with data and statistics).
4. What can people do to decrease the impact of the activity/product on the environment?
5. Are there any organizations actively engaged in the promotion or research of your chosen activity or product? If so, list them, and briefly describe their actions. If not, describe why you think that is and if you see opportunities to become involved in this area.

Be sure to follow the formatting guidelines below.

• You must include at least three visual aids.
• You must include three reliable sources with references in APA format. At least one source must come from the CSU Online Library.
• Use bulleted information on slides (five lines or less).
• Include brief details in the speaker notes. (Information that you would say to the class during an actual presentation should be placed in the speaker notes.)
• Add to the reference slide used for Parts 1 and 2. Remember, references in APA format are listed in alphabetical order, regardless of their order of appearance in the presentation.
• Use appropriate fonts and backgrounds.
• Use correct APA format for references and citations, and use correct grammar and spelling.
• Upload the presentation as a .ppt or .pptx file.

Part 3 of the PowerPoint presentation should be at least six slides in length but not more than 12 slides in length (not counting your title slide and references slide[s]).
